HVAC Tech

Position Mission
The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the maintenance and service of restaurant kitchen equipment, including beverage systems, boilers, ice machines, freezers and HVAC work. Maintenance duties include the installation, service and repair of equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to ensure you are well equipped for the job.

• Performs complex repairs on commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Manages installation, repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnoses technical problems and determines proper solutions.
• Provides preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area, including work vehicle, tools, manuals and parts.
• Uses various hand and power tools appropriately.
• Completes other repairs as needed.
• Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values and standards.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration is a must.
• Must own your own tools.
• Experience working in HVAC/Refrigeration in the restaurant industry preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• EPA Certification Type II or better required.
• Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule as dictated by the needs of the business.
• Must be able to work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments with many interruptions.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration are necessary for working on difficult projects, balancing numerous tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
• Works well under pressure and tight timelines.
• Ability to work weekends and travel as needed.

• Works additional hours as needed.
• Regular and punctual attendance.

• Medical Insurance – Eligible 1st of month after 60 days.
• 401K Plan – Eligible after one year.

• Vehicle Allowance – Company vehicle provided for work use only.

Standard office work environment. The physical demands for this position are sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
