Now hiring Part‑Time School Bus Drivers for Amarillo, TX. As a First Student Part‑Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
Responsibilities- Split shift: an early morning before‑school pickup followed by an after‑school drop‑off with a few free hours in between.
- Guaranteed 4‑hour shift per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to.
- Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available.
- $20.60 per hour starting wage.
- Paid CDL training – no experience necessary.
- $200 Commercial Learner's Permit bonus.
- Child Ride‑Along Program – a perfect opportunity for working parents.
- No nights or weekends required.
- No college degree or high school diploma required.

- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety‑sensitive employee. Conditions apply. Must obtain a Commercial Learner’s Permit within 15 days of accepting a job offer.
