OverviewNorthwest Texas Healthcare System, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), seeks dedicated professionals for transportation and equipment technology roles. The position involves driving patients, ensuring equipment availability, and maintaining shuttle operations in the Free Standing Emergency Departments and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Drive patients to and from facilities, providing transportation services from the Free Standing Emergency Departments.
- Transport patients to facilitate throughput when they lack a personal ride.
- Ensure nursing units have an adequate number of IV pumps, channels, and other assigned equipment.
- Provide transportation for NWTHS employees, students, faculty, and physicians by operating shuttle routes.
- Maintain shuttle vehicles, including cleaning and fuel supply.
- Complete shuttle usage summaries as required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Annual driver’s record validation.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- No revoked or suspended license, no multiple violations for uninsured driving, no two at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years, no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years, and no DUI/DWI convictions.
