Amarillo drivers who do not mind working for their money: this dedicated retail fleet pays some of the highest weekly numbers in the Panhandle.
Pay and Home Time- Average weekly gross: $1,857, top drivers reach $2,421
- How you get paid: mileage pay plus load pay
- Home time: weekly for a 34 hour reset
- Miles: about 1,600 per week
- 2 to 3 loads a week with 2 to 6 stops each
- You unload at the store using rollers, so this job keeps you active
- About 75% of freight delivers in Texas, the rest in KS, AR, LA, and MS
- Medical: choice of 4 plans, preventive care covered 100%
- HSA with company match
- Dental with preventive care covered 100%, plus vision at group rates
- 401(k) with company contribution
- Paid time off that grows with years of service
- Valid Class A CDL matching your state of residence
- Minimum age 21
- At least 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience (40 ft+ trailer) with stable work history
- Current DOT medical card with 90+ days remaining
- Acceptable driving record
- Must pass DOT drug screen (urine and hair)
