The City of Amarillo is seeking a Solid Waste Equipment Operator to operate assigned trucks and equipment on designated routes, including side loader, front loader, roll-off, and knuckle boom. You will perform inspections and minor repairs, and maintain required reports.
You must read maps or route printouts, communicate effectively with coworkers, and hold a Texas CDL (Class A or
B) along with a High School Diploma or GED. Outdoor year-round work and possible weekend shifts are included.
