Warehouse Associate – Loader/Unloader (4‑Day Workweek) – 2nd Shift Job Description

Supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions—including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing product for customer delivery—while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

This is a safety‑sensitive position. All candidates must undergo a pre‑employment drug test that screens for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). A background check for convictions directly related to duties and responsibilities will also be conducted.

• High school diploma or GED preferred; warehouse or distribution experience desirable.
• Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification for power‑truck equipment.
• Driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Must pass a DOT physical to operate delivery trucks.
• Experience operating inventory control equipment, e.g., barcode scanners and handheld devices.
• Fluent in English;
  Spanish is a plus.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for large portions of the shift.
• Must be able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• Ability to climb ladders for top-level selection.
• Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
