About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced CI Flexo Print Manager to lead our flexographic printing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI (Central Impression) Flexo printing, production management, quality control, process optimization, and team leadership within the flexible packaging industry. Flexography is widely used for flexible packaging, films, laminates, and other packaging substrates.

Key Responsibilities  Manage day-to-day operations of CI Flexo printing machines.
Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum machine utilization.
Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and wastage control.
Lead press operators and shift teams to maintain productivity and discipline.
Coordinate with Pre-Press, Lamination, Slitting, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
Troubleshoot printing defects and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper ink management, anilox maintenance, and plate handling.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve OEE.
Monitor machine performance and preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.
Train and develop operators on printing processes and best practices.
Prepare production reports, downtime analysis, and improvement plans.

Required Qualifications  Diploma / B.E. in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
8–15+ years of experience in CI Flexo printing operations.
Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of:
CI Flexo presses
Solvent-based and water-based inks
Anilox rolls and doctor blade systems
Print registration and color matching
Flexible packaging materials (PE, PET, BOPP, CPP, Paper, Laminates)
Experience in handling multi-color CI Flexo machines (8-color)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Preferred Skills  Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen implementation.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Production planning and scheduling.
ERP/MIS reporting.
Knowledge of ISO, BRC, or food packaging standards.
