Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for delivering outstanding care at Cygnet Hospital Elowen. You will be working 42 hours per week inclusive of day/night and weekend shifts. Day shift working hours will be: 8am - 8pm. Night shift working hours will be: 19:30pm - 8:30am. Cygnet Elowen Hospital is a 24 bed service comprising of two wards providing a specialist service for management of Eating Disorders, Personality Disorder and Disordered Eating for women aged 18 and over.

The service will also provide treatment for individuals who have other co-morbid mental health problems, complex challenging behaviour and self-harm. Please note that a minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is required for this role.

• Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality
• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with patients, relatives & other healthcare professionals
• Safe administration of medication as per local and national guidelines
• Provide effective direction and support to junior members of the team

An experienced RMN with a current Pin Number, you'll have

• Please note that a minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is required for this role.
• The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
• A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
