About the Hotel

Rothay Manor Hotel is a luxury boutique 4 star hotel on the outskirts of Ambleside in the English Lake District. We offer fabulous guest accommodation coupled with a modern British restaurant. With a total of 23 rooms, 10 of which are suites, we offer exceptional service in a warm and friendly atmosphere, creating a home from home experience for all guests.

We are seeking a full time Waiter / Waitress to join our front of house team.

Previous experience is required in a good hotel or restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent food and drink, coupled with an eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.

You must be hard working and well presented, with excellent time keeping and a can do attitude.

The normal working week is 5 days out of 7, with days off consecutively. The role requires a combination of split and straight shifts totaling approximately 40- 45 hours per week.

Hours worked over 45 per week are paid in addition to your salary.
