About the RoleWelcome to the Future of Engineering! Imagine a place where your skills as an Engineering Technician shine as you design, program, and verify setups and fixtures for NC machines. You'll collaborate closely with Production and Quality teams, solving complex problems that keep our operations running smoothly.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Dive into creating and verifying programs and setups for NC machines.
- Share your expertise by training production employees in machine operations.
- Act as a detective, finding solutions for machining and welding challenges.
- Be the innovator, seeking out process improvements.
- Bring new ideas to life by modeling new parts and revision changes.
- Be a partner in enterprise, supporting the Manufacturing Engineer in various projects.
- Guide your team to meet and exceed expectations on every project.
- Maintain the tool crib.
- Support engineers and the management team as needed.
- Help map out spaces for new equipment, ensuring everything flows smoothly.
- Keep your workspace orderly.
- Deliver flawless work to your internal and external partners.
- Adjust your schedule or collaborate with other departments as required.
- High school diploma; degree is a plus.
- Five years of experience in manufacturing;
Lean techniques desirable. - 1‑3 years of NC machine operation experience.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong geometric and trigonometric problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent measuring skills.
- Ability to read blueprints fluently.
- Team spirit, able to thrive in fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and conversational English.
- Lift 20‑50 lbs multiple times per shift.
- Sit, stand, twist, bend as needed.
- Walk 2‑5 miles per shift.
- Good eyesight with corrective lenses acceptable.
- Maintain dexterity and precision.
