Position Title: Program Coordinator

Location of Position: American Canyon, CA Office;
Davis, CA Office

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; occasional overtime

Brief job description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing programs and services that support adults with developmental disabilities. This role manages client ISP goals to assist with daily living activities at home and in the community, and provides oversight of an entire department staff assigned to specific clients' homes.

The position coordinates personal care, training, and support to meet individual goals and objectives for the individuals served.

Brief job responsibilities

The Program Coordinator shall assign staff to provide direct service to clients and supervise the delivery of client services by managing client and staff schedules, and effectively communicating with clients and staff. Supervisory staff must be able to organize and supervise direct provision of services in accordance with the vendor’s policies under the general supervision of the Program Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 2 years of experience in Social Services or Case Management; OR Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience in Social Services or Case Management.

  • Must relate positively to individuals, families/conservators, neighbors, Regional Center representatives and community members
  • Must be mature and emotionally stable
  • Must believe that all people with developmental disabilities can be served in their communities
  • Must use respectful language about people with developmental disabilities
  • Must view developmental disability as not an illness
  • Must be able to examine personal power and control when supporting others
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and initiative for the people we serve
  • Must be punctual with good attendance
  • Must communicate effectively in the language spoken by individuals served and in writing
  • Must organize and prioritize a variety of tasks
Pay range

$17.00/hour to $23.00/hour [DOE;
Depending On Experience]
