Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing candidate to join our medical laboratory staff; a candidate that wants to contribute to the health care team by performing essential laboratory testing at our American Fork main campus laboratory. As one of our team members you will provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory. We expect you to provide courteous and friendly service with multiple patients and offices, maintain a professional image in appearance and conduct, and balance team and individual responsibilities to contribute to a positive work environment.

Because you will interact with all ranges of patients and co-workers must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide an excellent customer experience with every encounter to patients and co-workers both in and out of the laboratory.
• Provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory including performing general laboratory testing including high, moderate, and waived complexity.
• Performance of quality control, troubleshooting and instrument maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science
• ASCP Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Hours:

Must be able to work varied shifts between 6:00am and 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. Shifts are 10 hours long, 4 days a week with days off rotating between Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
