About This Role: As a Senior Software Engineer for Applied ML at LVT, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and testing software as part of a team of talented software engineers and applied data scientists. You will provide technical contributions, write high‑quality code, mentor teammates, and drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to technical discussions and support teammates by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Support project planning and execution, estimate effort, and deliver components on time.
- Work with senior engineers and architects to design scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and suggest improvements or new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including product managers, QA engineers, and Dev Ops.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focusing on embedded/edge development.
- 1+ year of experience integrating ML into embedded/edge solutions.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Object‑oriented design experience.
- GoLang experience (desired).
- Experience with the Nvidia Jetson Ecosystem and other AI accelerators (desired).
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Track record of delivering high‑quality software products on time and within budget.
