AboutThis Role
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and testing software as part of a team of talented software engineers. You will be responsible for providing technical contributions, writing quality code, and driving innovation and continuous improvement in software development. This position requires technical prowess, mentorship skills, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software products.
Responsibilities- Technical Leadership:
Contribute to technical discussions, support teammates by sharing knowledge and best practices, and help set team‑level technical direction. - Project Management:
Support project planning and execution, collaborate with team members to understand requirements, estimate effort, and deliver components on time. - Architecture and Design:
Work with other senior engineers and architects to design scalable and maintainable software systems, provide input on design patterns, and conduct code reviews. - Technical Proficiency:
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and practices relevant to embedded software development, and suggest improvements or new technologies. - Collaboration:
Actively collaborate with cross‑functional partners including product managers, QA engineers, and Dev Ops to deliver high‑quality software and promote open communication. - Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance software development processes, productivity, and efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and implementing tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on embedded development.
- Object‑oriented design experience.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- GoLang experience desired.
- in Embedded Linux and RTOS (Zephyr a plus).
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Track record of delivering high‑quality software products on time and within budget.
