Student teaching assistants wanted for CHEM 1211R new chemistry recitation section.

• Work with students enrolled in CHEM 1211 to help them through the course.
• Run a 50‑minute recitation section covering homework problems, answering questions, and administering quizzes.
• Spend 2.5 hours outside of recitation time in preparation with the instructor or attend lecture classes whenever scheduled (2.5‑hour commitment).

• Any student of any major who successfully completed CHEM 1211 with a B or better.
• Ability to make the time commitment regularly.
• Good communication skills and ability to ask questions when needed.
• Application process will require an interview with the instructor.

Paid $15/hour for 4.5 hours of work per week, including 1 contact hour, 2.5 hours of preparation, and one hour of additional preparation and record‑keeping on the student’s own time.
