* This is a part-time position.
- Create a professional, respectful, student-centered learning environment for personalized instruction. We provide instructors with curriculum, assessment tools, and other electronic resources; we need you to do the magic!
- Classroom management and interpersonal skills are essential to build the student-instructor relationships needed for student success.
- Strong verbal and written skills are required for professional-level reporting, whether daily, through bi-weekly meetings, monthly reports, etc.
- Instructors are role models and education advocates for our at-risk youth.
- Bachelor's degree required, from an accredited College or University.
- Teaching certification and one year of work experience in business or educational field; or eight (8) or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience; experience working with the at-risk population strongly preferred. Previous experience working as an Instructor/Teacher is preferred.
- Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
