High School Diploma or GED (Required)

1 year experience in medical transport, whether external or internal transport. Other experience includes positions within a hospital or healthcare setting or customer service institution. (Preferred)

BLS Certified by American Heart Association (Obtain within 3 months of hire)

Possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License and meet auto insurability requirements approved by Phoebe Putney Health System's insurance company

• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
• Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills.
• Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
