Description of Duties : (This position is located in Warner Robins, GA and Fort Valley, GA)
Clinician is an important member of our multi-disciplinary team, provides comprehensive assessments, individual, group counseling, family counseling, and other treatment modalities within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. Participation as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, developing and implementing client-centered treatment plans and goal setting for serviced individuals.
Complies with required productivity requirement as set forth by immediate supervisor. Must obtain job-related license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and/or certification (CAC, CADC, etc.), within 2-2.5 years of employment. Through supervision and annual PMF evaluation, a review of employee’s progress towards licensure and/or certification will be required. Failure to show progress at the end of 2-2.5 years will result in an evaluation of the employee’s current job title.
Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a related field. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:Current licensure as a Master’s level Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor by Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapist. Two years’ work experience in social services delivery (case management, outreach, prevention/education, individual assessments, counseling) that includes experience providing individual and group services to individuals with co-occurring disorders. Computer proficient and have the ability to multi-task.
Experience working in mental health and experience conducting groups. Must have CPR/First-aid/AED certification;
Keyboard proficient with basic computer and typing skills.
