Production Bagger Operator

Tamarack Foods is looking to hire a full-time Production Bagger Operator

Our Production General Laborers will assist with various tasks within our manufacturing process.

• Assure equipment is set up appropriately for the scheduled production size or mix, change as necessary to support fulfillment of the production schedule.
• Perform equipment audits at scheduled intervals and when performance dictates, recording results.
• Respond appropriately to audit results and alarms with machine adjustments, report adjustments or changes to satisfy alarm criteria.
• Maintains the yield efficiency goal levels set forth by management.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed or assigned.
• Maintain open communication between production shifts and maintenance, this may include shift overlap and/or written documentation such as logbooks or journals.
• Contact maintenance if equipment issues cannot be resolved; provide feedback to supervisor and maintenance regarding any equipment or process concerns.
• Comply with company safety policies, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations.
• Some knowledge of electrical and mechanical procedures
• Overtime may be required on occasion.

Tamarack Foods is a Georgia foods manufacturing company based in Americus, Georgia.

The site and building have been fully renovated to produce battered and-fried protein products under the inspection of the USDA. Tamarack Foods is a family-owned business and will be a sister company to B and D Foods in Boise, Idaho.
