About the Role:

The Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment during the evening hours. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery to produce high-quality products that meet company standards. The operator will troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with team members to maintain continuous production flow.

Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to meeting production targets and supporting overall manufacturing goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery or in a similar industrial role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in machine operation or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with computerized or automated manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manufacturing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
