Test & Installation Engineer
Job mission

You will be responsible for the in-house test and validation of particle accelerators, which are built to customer's specifications

You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning at the customer's site, which requires willingness to travel up to 50% of the time divided in periods of 4-weeks, interrupted by one week at the home base

Your work entails activities in the field of mechanics, electronics and software

Education

Bachelor degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or comparable education

Personal skills

A creative engineer with hands‑on mentality and analytical skills who likes to travel (and the home front can / will support this) with regular stays abroad

Excellent people skills with customers and colleagues of diverse cultural background

Strong personality that keeps track and is capable to deal with uncertainties and constraints

Decisive, responsible and pro‑active attitude

Thinking in solutions and not in problems

Experience

Experience with particle accelerators or industrial/scientific equipment

Knowledge of software testing and validation

Written and spoken command of English

Familiar with technical reporting

Experience with the V-model development process is an advantage
