Manager Finance & Operations

VKZ is a specialized consultancy firm in real estate and area development. We work at the intersection of strategy, organization, and realization. Our assignments are as diverse as our clients: we support government bodies, healthcare institutions, laboratories, educational institutions, housing associations, and private parties with their spatial challenges. Examples include housing strategies, campus development, area visions, scenario explorations, and the realization of real estate projects with social and commercial value.

As Manager Finance & Operations, you are responsible for establishing, managing, and further professionalizing VKZ's financial and administrative organization. You safeguard the quality and reliability of financial information and ensure clear reports and forecasts for the management, our advisors, and project managers.

You are responsible for, among other things:

• Monitoring financial processes and budgets;
• Preparing, analyzing, and explaining periodic financial reports and management information.
• Monitoring project budgets and commitments, and promptly identifying and discussing financial deviations.
• Preparing and supervising periodic closings, annual accounts, and tax returns.
• Monitoring and improving financial and administrative processes and internal controls.
• Reviewing and processing incoming invoices.
• Arranging lease cars and mobility agreements.
• Coordinating and concluding pension schemes.
• Taking out and managing insurance policies.
• Processing sick leave notifications and personnel changes.
• Providing solicited and unsolicited advice to management and colleagues on financial and organizational matters.

You will work closely with our administrator, who is responsible for outgoing invoicing.

• HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial-economic field.
• Relevant experience in a financial-administrative, controller, or similar position.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and Excel.
• The ability to clearly explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
