As Junior Manager, Public Relations & Marketing Communications, you will manage and grow Descartes’ external voice across France and the Benelux, while supporting local marketing teams in the Nordics, DACH region, and the UK. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be part of an international European Marketing team and act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, customers, agencies, and media.

Your work will directly influence brand awareness, accelerate the pipeline, and strengthen Descartes’ position as a thought leader in the European enterprise market.

• Develop and successfully execute PR and marketing communications strategies that increase brand awareness and support demand generation across multiple European markets
• Create, write, review, and localise content such as blogs, customer success stories, opinion pieces, press releases, and newsletters
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customers, and partners to produce high-impact customer success content (case studies, media advisories, videos, press releases, etc.)
• Align PR and communications programs with field marketing initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and measurable impact
• Manage relationships with external PR agencies and build a strong network of media outlets, journalists, and industry publications
• Develop and maintain regional marketing collateral by translating Descartes’ vision, products, services, and business value into clear, compelling messaging
• Act as a PR and marketing communications leader, serving as a trusted advisor to management and stakeholders

• University or higher education degree, with 1–2 years of experience in B2B PR and/or marketing communications
• Good basic command of French (written, spoken, and reading)
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• Comfort working under deadlines in a dynamic, international environment
