Lead bootfitter & ski specialist

At Snowcountry, everything revolves around happy customers, now and in the long run. In our new store, we want to offer the best boot fitting and the best ski advice from day one. We're looking for an experienced expert who will set that standard and take our team to the next level.

Snowcountry was founded in 2008 and has grown into one of Europe's leading winter sports retailers. We serve customers in 65 countries and have grown entirely on our own. Our mission:

• You'll be the face of, and the authority on, ski boots and skis in our store.

• You'll do high-level boot fitting yourself and have completed training and/or earned certifications in it.

• You'll lead and guide the store team on skis and boot fitting, and set the standard for advice and fitting services together with the store team lead.

• You'll train young, enthusiastic colleagues to become true specialists.

• You'll work closely with our ski category team on assortment, brands, trends and customer feedback from the shop floor.

• You'll help shape the further development of our store(s). Our ambition is to grow into a large store in the Netherlands and a store outside the Netherlands (within 3–5 years).

• Test trips, because first-hand experience is essential. In March and April, Snowcountry runs its own test lodge, where we train a large part of our staff and introduce them to gear and activities such as ski touring and freeriding.

• You have years of experience as a boot fitter and ski specialist, ideally in a specialist ski shop or in the Alps.

• You're a strong, versatile skier yourself. You know the piste, but you're just as at home off-piste and in the touring segment.

• You have proven knowledge of gear.

• You get satisfaction from training others and naturally take the lead.

• You're customer-focused and would rather deliver a perfect fit than a quick sale.
