Holmer Green Senior School is seeking a permanent, full time LSA to join our Learning Support Department and our Speech and Language ARP. We are looking to start as soon as possible, with Bucks pay range 1‑2. It is a hugely varied and interesting role and we welcome applications from both experienced and less experienced candidates.

Holmer Green is a popular 11 to 18 school with 1000+ students (100+ in the Sixth Form) and is expanding. As a school we are in the top 10% of schools nationally for KS4 progress and in the top 5% of schools nationally for KS5 progress. As part of our expansion plan we now have a range of new modern facilities.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to promote teaching and learning with our Learning Support Department and our Speech & Language ARP. This is a varied, challenging and highly interesting role and we are looking for either experienced or inexperienced candidates.

• Commitment to the safeguarding and well‑being of all students and the ability to follow all school policy and procedures
• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
• Experience of working within an educational or care setting with adults or young people.
• Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
• Ability to motivate and encourage students
