Responsibilities
The role of a Wraparound Assistant will include setting up/clearing away before sessions, welcoming children in, ensuring they are cared for, supervised, and have exciting activities to engage in. You will be required to set out activities daily in the setting and make sure the equipment is accessible, neat and welcoming, alongside preparing and serving a light snack. The role requires availability Monday to Friday between 2:45 pm and 5 pm.
This post involves work with children and young people that requires applicants to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check prior to appointment.
Qualifications & Requirements- All unspent convictions and conditional cautions
- All spent convictions and adult cautions that are not protected (i.e. that are not filtered out) as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the Exceptions Order 1975 (as amended in 2020).

It is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. All shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a self‑disclosure form and return it prior to interview.

Hyde Heath Infant School is nestled in the village of Hyde Heath with a maximum of 69 children, plus a Nursery Class.
