Are you a Secondary Teaching Assistant looking to gain experience working within education? Are you an aspiring teacher looking to gain experience as a teaching assistant?

We are an OFSTED Rated Good secondary school in Amersham, seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced teaching assistants for opportunities working in a mainstream secondary school. We are particularly interested in behaviour support, but any candidate with a degree relevant to secondary education, aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, or teaching assistants is encouraged to apply.

• Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
• Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
• Prepare classrooms prior to lessons and clean up afterwards.
• Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Organise and supervise pupils during projects and sporting activities.

• Ability to communicate clearly with teachers and younger individuals.
• Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
• Active listening skills.
• Understanding and sensitivity towards children.
• Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class.
