Are you a qualified English Teacher or English Specialist looking for a long-term contract from September with a wonderful secondary school based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire?

English Teacher - Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Contract:

September 2026 - Temp-Perm

Pay Rate: £150 - £250 per day

Location:

Secondary school, Buckinghamshire

• Be passionate about their subject and a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of all abilities
• Be interested in the science of learning and committed to continuous improvement
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and contribute to the team, with clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
• Desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students

• Degree in English or related field
• Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
• Experience with online teaching platforms
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
