About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you'll play a key role in inspiring young learners and supporting their academic, personal, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and wider academic skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support where required.
  • Prepare pupils for statutory assessments where appropriate, ensuring they are confident and well-supported in reaching their full potential.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school team to support pupils' progress and wellbeing.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire pupils.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
