Join our Amersham Teaching Assistant Team
Role OverviewAs a Teaching Assistant in Amersham you will support students both in the classroom and beyond, assist with personalised learning plans, and help foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and small group support across various subjects
- Assist with classwork, homework, and exam preparation
- Help set, track, and review individual student targets
- Deliver tailored interventions to meet student needs
- Support learning in-class and during off-site activities
- Act as a key worker for designated pupils
- Assist with lunch, break, and on-call supervision
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings
- Confidence with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Experience supporting autistic students
