The Sr Finance Manager – Gen Med Operations and R&D role will have ownership of Operations financial management, including standard work and governance of Gen Med manufacturing plants’ financial reporting and processes, together with delivering financial reporting and analysis for Gen Med inventory, E&O and capex.

This role will also collaborate with FP&A to drive financial visibility, rigor and performance of Gen Med R&D. This position reports to the CFO, Genomic Medicine and is part of the Genomic Medicine Finance team. The role is located Amersham Place, UK (or Budapest, Hungary or Bangalore, India) and will be an on-site role.

• Drive Operations Finance oversight and governance to the Plant Finance and Operations teams in Switzerland & Canada, by establishing Standard Work, Daily Management and continuous improvement processes across the key financial performance metrics (includes PPV/VAVE, Labor & Overhead Productivity, inventory and turns). Finance business partner to Operations Integration Director
• Ownership and delivery of inventory reporting including turns calculations, inventory variance analysis, monthly actuals process, forecast consolidation, and budget planning
• Ownership and delivery of inventory E&O forecasting for Gen Med sites, working with Plant Finance to provide transparency on E&O risk
• Ownership of standard cost update process, supporting Plant Finance, preparing consolidation and analysis of update impact, and primary point of contact for the Gen Med OpCo.
• Financial management and governance of capex across Gen Med, coordination between the sites and functions and Cytiva HQ
• Lead Gen Med-specific Operations Finance process improvements, including Kaizens or operationalizing Standard Work, and supporting the Plant Operations Finance Controllers to improve their processes as the Operations Finance subject matter expert.
• Finance support for Gen Med R&D in collaboration with FP&A Director, financial oversight and governance of annual R&D expenditure, business cases and return on investments; provide financial insights to enable innovation investment decision-support

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive financial experience focused on providing budget, forecast, and business analysis support with a large, sophisticated organization
