A day in the life of a Care Assistant
- Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care – Supporting with a wash bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care.
- Medication – Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
- Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks – Light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility – Supporting the client to live independently with their mobility.
- Social activities – Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Person Specification Qualifications- A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK is required for this role. No specific qualifications are mentioned, but the company offers fully funded training up to QCF level 5 for successful candidates.
