Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant at The Croft, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to the residents. Your duties will include providing companionship, assisting with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and supporting the clients with their mobility and social activities. A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • No specific qualifications are required, but at least 12 months of the right to work in the UK is necessary. The role is suitable for both experienced care professionals and those new to the care sector, as Agincare provides comprehensive training and development opportunities.
