Flame Health Optometry have been instructed to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for an independent optometry practice in the Amersham area.

Offering a salary of £38,000–£40,000 per annum pro rata, this opportunity suits an experienced professional seeking a three- to four-day working week with no weekend commitments.

The successful candidate will support patients and families with their spectacle and contact lens needs, providing personal advice to help them see clearly and feel comfortable in their eyewear.

The practice places strong emphasis on eye health, alongside appearance, fit and practical support.

You will work within a friendly, professional team using modern diagnostic technology, including a 3D swept‑source optical coherence tomography scan. This produces detailed, high‑resolution images of the different retinal layers and supports the detection of conditions including age‑related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes and vitreous detachments.
