The Opportunity: scale a premium legacyAshridge Home Care is not your typical corporate provider. We are a family-owned, premium care brand with a reputation for uncompromising quality. Having built a solid foundation in Live-in and Visiting care, we are now ready to enter a pivotal growth phase.
We are seeking a Head of Operations to act as a true strategic partner to the Owners/Managing Directors and be part of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This isn't a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo; it is for an ambitious operational driver who wants to take full ownership of our delivery model and evolve as we scale.
The MissionAs the CQC Registered Manager, you will hold the keys to our daily operations. Your success will be defined by two Strategic Priorities:
- Lead & Empower: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to ensure alignment with the Ashridge mission
- Operational Intelligence: Implement robust systems and tech to provide real-time clarity on performance and outcomes
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets and protect the financial health of the business without compromising care
- Growth & Business development: Actively identify opportunities and ensure the business is "fit for growth" by driving operational efficiencies that support the scaling of our Live-in and Visiting care capacity
You are a pragmatic leader who is as comfortable mentoring a carer through a complex situation as you are analysing data to streamline a workflow.
- The Expert: Proven track record in private-pay home care and managing "Outstanding" environments
- The Driver: You don’t just spot gaps; you build the workflows to close them
- The Tech-Adopter: Proficient in Microsoft 365 and care management software to drive data-led decisions
- The Communicator: High integrity, with the ability to represent Ashridge to families and regulators alike
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Social Care (or equivalent/willingness to complete)
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent professional references
You will join a business where your voice matters, and your expertise is valued. Unlike corporate providers, we offer a "seat at the table" where you can directly influence strategy without the usual distractions of banks, private equity, or endless committees. Here, you will be a defining part of a deeply supportive culture dedicated to giving real meaning to the lives of our clients and team alike.
Ashridge Home Care is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity, inclusion and the safeguarding of adults cessful candidates will require an Enhanced DBS check.
