Staff Accountant

A lead Staff Accountant who can defend a number to an auditor and sell it to a board is rare;
Innovate Lab is hiring exactly that. With $112,000 - $174,000 on the table, this lead role rewards 9 years of Power BI with autonomy and team-driven growth.

• Tighten the revenue-recognition policy as new finance deals get complex
• Translate the finance cost structure into a pricing floor leadership trusts
• Spot the duplicate payment before it leaves the account
• Forecast working capital tight enough to avoid a boldly-pragmatic cash crunch
• Manage fixed-asset schedules, depreciation, and capital expenditure tracking

• 8 years that taught you which corners can be cut
• The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to lead leadership
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
• At least 7 years building expertise within the finance space

We started Innovate Lab in an Ames garage because the finance status quo deserved a mission-driven reckoning. At Innovate Lab feedback has a short half-life, delivered close to the moment it can still help.

Here you earn $112,000 - $174,000 while a dedicated mentor helps you grow from lead into ownership, all wrapped in benefits worth keeping.

You’ve weighed the pros and cons long enough; the Staff Accountant application takes five minutes.
