Lube Technician

Honda of Ames (Dealer L0190) is hiring an
** Automotive Lube Technician
** to perform vehicle maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. This full‑time position is located in Ames, IA.

• Perform minor maintenance, such as changing engine oil and filters.
• Conduct complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, and drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team‑player mindset focused on exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
