The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University seeks an experienced professional to teach courses in advertising and/or strategic communication and potentially other courses in journalism, public relations, or sports media and communication, depending on the candidate’s experience and the school’s needs. In addition to teaching at a high level, the successful candidate may be asked to mentor undergraduate students as part of the school’s required internship program.
Adherence to programmatic goals and curriculum objectives is required, as the school is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in communications or a related field
- Two years of professional experience in advertising, strategic communication, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professional experience beyond the required amount in advertising, strategic communication, or a related field;
- Demonstrated knowledge in current and emerging industry technology;
- Advising or mentoring experience;
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.
