Join the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement within the Dean of Students Office (DSO) at Iowa State University. This full‑time position (Student Services Specialist I) reports directly to the Assistant Dean of Students for Development and Student Leadership and Director of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement.

Responsibilities- Support the planning and coordination of sorority and fraternity civic engagement efforts, including event registration, the back‑to‑school drive, trick‑or‑treat event, day of service, and the annual Polar Plunge fundraiser.
- Contribute to assessment processes measuring the outcomes of civic engagement programs.
- Serve as a primary advisor to one of Iowa State’s four governing councils (CPC, IFC, MGC, NPHC) and coach a variety of chapters across the community.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong desire to be highly engaged with students.
• Representation of the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement and Dean of Students Office.
• This role requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
• The position offers a flexible start date between now and May/June, to be discussed with the successful candidate.
