This is a full‑time, direct placement role at Resource Consulting Engineers, LLC. Resource Consulting Engineers, LLC is a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consulting engineering firm, primarily focused on services related to building analysis, design, and construction administration services. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing and/or overseeing all aspects of electrical systems design for our projects. Future oversight of other electrical engineering personnel is also likely.

The ideal candidate is expected to take a leadership role within the firm, and will work directly with clients, performing both technical engineering and project management roles.

• Design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems
• Design and analysis of lighting systems
• Design and analysis of low‑voltage systems (fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.)
• Complete calculations related to electrical systems
• Use of electrical systems design software
• Production of electrical drawings and specifications
• Review of submittals from contractors
• Response to contractor questions

• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa
• Minimum of five years' experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Experience with design of power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage systems
• Experience with design software packages (AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software)
• Ability to work effectively with other team members and clients

Salary Description $140-160k
