FBI Special Agent - National Security
As an FBI special agent, you will directly impact national security by safeguarding the nation against cyberattacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats. Your background in cybersecurity and investigative work will enable you to conduct high‑stakes investigations and collaborate with law‑enforcement partners, while the FBI supports your professional growth and robust benefits.
SalaryBase pay range: $97,300.00/yr – $/yr. Paid level: $99,461.00–$. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
Duties- Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety
- Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands
- Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies
- Maintain physical fitness to ensure readiness for law‑enforcement duties
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance
- Must be willing to travel as required
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university
