Receptionist (PT) – Adult Medicine – Ames –

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a part‑time Receptionist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service‑oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care to patients every day.

• Maintain reception desk activities, greeting patients and visitors.
• Schedule appointments and provide instructions to patients in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise.

• Days:
  Thursday & Friday, and every other Wednesday.
• Hours:
  
  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• Preferably one year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Keyboard and computer skills.
• Completion of a Medical Terminology class within one year of employment.
• Receptionist experience preferred, but not required.

• Pre‑employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
