PositionThis hybrid position will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data that drives OPDC’s strategic contracting, policy development, and legislative advocacy efforts. It requires detail‑oriented collaboration within an equity‑centered environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the required knowledge and skills; combined with two (2) years of professional‑level evaluative, analytical, and planning work.
- OR any combination of experience and education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
The research and data staff ensures that OPDC’s work is clearly understood by internal staff, state leaders, and public defense providers, and that agency decisions are grounded in equitable, evidence‑based research. This role focuses on quality assurance and control for all data received and entered into agency databases, monitors data entry, follows up with other sections to correct errors or incomplete information, and tracks progress to completion.
The team supports all program areas, providing analysis that guides agency decision‑making, and leads data‑sharing efforts across state agencies, courts, and partner organizations to improve outcomes for vulnerable Oregonians.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Develop, analyze, and evaluate data to support OPDC’s strategic work in contracting, policy development, and legislative advocacy while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of caseload and agency data. Manage reporting processes, perform extensive quality assurance and control, audit and correct data issues, collaborate with development teams to test system updates, recommend system improvements, and maintain documentation and process manuals.
Report Development
Assist in preparing and delivering management presentations and contribute to developing standardized statistical reports.
Relationship Management
Support effective teamwork by assisting colleagues and supervisors, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies. Build strong, positive relationships with internal and external partners, contributing to a respectful, inclusive workplace that values diversity.
