Data Services Technician

Overview

This position is office-based in Ames, Iowa.

This position is responsible for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from one dental software product into other Henry Schein Practice Solutions products. Responsible to work toward and assist in the achievement of individual, team, department, and all company goals.

• Serve as a contact for internal and external customers during all phases of the data migration
• Manage multiple/simultaneous ETL projects
• Recognize and escalate customer data issues
• Ensure the timely and effective completion of migration expectations are met or exceeded
• Document, record, and appropriately track completed tasks to provide accurate record of account/project history
• Resolve complex data related problems
• Prioritize projects and customer needs based on changing demands
• Strong ability to acquire new knowledge related to changing work environment

• Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

• Must have
  :
  Typically 4 or more years of related experience
• Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Very good attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer service oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex issues
• Ability to plan and arrange activities. Excellent interpersonal communication skills

The posted range for this position is $48,000-$57,000, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. This range considers factors such as prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, and internal equity. This position is eligible for a target bonus not reflected in the posted range.
