The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of FQHC Operations and Compliance Manager in the Federally Qualified Health Center Division. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.

Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating the business, compliance, financial, and administrative functions of the Southern Nevada Community Health Center (SNCHC). Provides leadership to support organizational performance, fiscal stewardship, regulatory compliance, risk management, strategic planning, and continuous improvement through the administration of business operations, grants management, performance reporting, and compliance programs.

Education and Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, healthcare administration, public administration, business administration, finance, or a closely related field.
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, healthcare administration, public administration, business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration, business operations, compliance, grants administration, financial management, risk management, or related healthcare support functions, including two (2) years of supervisory or management experience;
  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Community Health Center, or other safety-net healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) requirements, value-based care initiatives, quality improvement programs, accreditation activities, grants administration, and compliance program management is preferred.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
License or Certificate:
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Nevada Driver License within six (6) months of employment and maintenance thereafter.
  • Possession of a professional healthcare administration, compliance, grants management, risk management, or healthcare financial management credential is preferred.
