McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for LPN for its Urgent Care clinic in North Ames office. Candidates should be service‑oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include:

Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting, and cross‑train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Certification/License

• Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse
• Current BCLS certification.

Hours: Rotating M-F 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Every Third weekend 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Rotating Holidays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience

• Clinic experience preferred.

$2.50 per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, please ask for details.

Pre‑employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
