CMA/LPN/RN - Phone Nurse (FT) | Urology | Ames

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for the CMA/LPN/RN role in its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and able to provide extraordinary care every day to our patients.

• Assess patients’ health concerns via phone or MyChart messaging.
• Provide medical advice using established protocols.
• Educate patients.
• Room patients.
• Assist providers in exam rooms.
• Assist providers with in‑office procedures.
• Stock rooms.

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA.
• Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• Previous hospital or clinic experience.
