Objectives- Qualify incoming leads based on project scope, investment range, timeline, and fit
- Conduct in-home consultations and/or showroom appointments to understand goals, design preferences, and structural considerations
- Educate clients on remodeling options, materials, timelines, and potential constraints
- Collaborate with design and preconstruction teams to align design intent with feasibility
- Capture site measurements, photographs, and initial concepts to enable accurate proposals
- Create polished, accurate estimates and presentations using Cyclone software (e.g., Builder Trend)
- Develop clear scopes of work that align expectations and minimize change orders
- Present project concepts and proposals with clarity, confidence, and transparency
- Navigate objections and guide clients through decision-making with professionalism
- Follow up promptly with revisions, clarifications, and next steps to close the sale
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets
- Ensure a clean and complete transition to the preconstruction and production teams
- Collaborate with designers, estimators, and production leaders to validate pricing, scope, and selections
- Maintain communication with clients post-sale to reinforce satisfaction and encourage future business and referrals
- Builds trust and confidence through education, clarity, and consistency
- Understands spatial flow, materials, and functional home design
- Able to communicate construction requirements and constraints
- Handles objections and moves clients toward decisions
- Ensures documentation, estimates, and scopes are thorough and accurate
- Partners effectively with design, preconstruction, and production teams
- Driven to achieve revenue, margin, and client satisfaction targets
- 2+ years of experience in remodeling sales, design-build, home improvement, or interior design
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and design principles
- Ability to read floor plans, understand basic structural considerations, and communicate technical details
- Proficiency in digital measuring tools and sales/estimating software (Builder Trend preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and consultative sales skills
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
