Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting for the position of Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, you are invited to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and welcoming environment.

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, and using various tools to complete your tasks.

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR check
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment at Walmart stores
• Use work order management systems to document repairs and support store operations
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
