We are seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter with at least 4 years of residential construction experience to join our team. This role will involve a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation and repair, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry on residential construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential construction projects.
• Construct and install wall, floor, and roof framing.
• Hang, finish, repair, and patch drywall.
• Install doors, windows, baseboards, trim, crown molding, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble building materials accurately.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure projects are completed according to quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet project deadlines.

• Minimum 4 years of residential carpentry experience required .
• Strong experience with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.
